Social Media

Oakland University School of Engineering and Computer Science

When I started my position as Communications Assistant and Web Content Developer for the School of Engineering at Oakland University, the social media pages needed some work. I developed a plan, tracking reach through insights and analytics, and scheduling posts. I also made the pages uniform and up-to-code with the University’s standards. Following my start, post reach and following among the three main social media accounts saw a big increase.

Since then, the page has grown to have almost double the likes (1,152 page likes as of Nov. 2015) and a consistent daily post reach of at least 1,500.
